  • The registration fee per boat includes:
  1. Hire of boat and engine hours.
  2. Race entry fee and all race organisation costs (setting, racing & redress committees, judges, follow-up boat, emergency boat etc.)
  3. Race premiums and insurance, no extra fee or downpayment required for insurance or excess fee
  4. Overnight accommodation on board yachts
  5. Use of the members' only facilities of the Yacht Club
  6. Free entrance to welcome party, including food and drinks
  7. On-shore breakfast for both days of the races
  8. Entrance to formal dinner and entertainment at the Yacht Club of Greece main Club House for the formal award ceremony on the last day of races

The Boats

  • Boats will be provided in Athens and will be first-class sailing yachts.
  • Effort is being made to contain all participating boats in one class, 38 feet, with tri-cabin layout, which will depend on the final number of participants. Otherwise there will be two race divisions: Division A for alumni, Division B for students.
  • Participants per boat should be maximum 8 crew
  • Minimum sailing qualifications requirement per boat is: two holders of day skipper’s certificates, (or equivalent sailing qualification) to be provided prior to the event.
  • Boats can include both alumni and students – the race is about the Schools
