Registration for Global MBA Trophy 2011 will open in December 2010 |
- The registration fee per boat includes:
- Hire of boat and engine hours.
- Race entry fee and all race organisation costs (setting, racing & redress committees, judges, follow-up boat, emergency boat etc.)
- Race insurance premium.
- Overnight accommodation on board the boats
- Use of the members' only facilities of the Yacht Club
- Free entrance to welcome party, including food and drinks
- On-shore breakfast for both days of the races
- Entrance to formal dinner and entertainment at the Yacht Club main Club House for the formal award ceremony on the last day of races
- Prize giving
- Merchandise
- Availability of press and VIP yachts
- Professional photos available post the event
- Please note that a refundable deposit of Euros2000 will be requested at the time of boat pick up. Payment is possible via credit card.

The Boats
- Boats will be provided in Athens and will be first-class sailing yachts.
- Division A will comprise a fleet of 9 Sun Odyssey 43ft equipped with lazy jacks
- Effort is being made to contain all participating boats in Division B in one class, 38 feet, with tri-cabin layout. This will depend on the final number of participants.
- Participants per boat should be maximum 8 crew
- Minimum sailing qualifications requirement per boat is: two holders of day skipper’s certificates, (or equivalent sailing qualification) to be provided prior to the event.
- Boats can include both alumni and students – the race is about the Schools
